INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2021- #CHOOSETOCHALLENGE#

Kiambu Governor H.E. James Nyoro, accompanied by the First Lady of Kiambu County H.E. Sarah Karanja and the Deputy Governor H.E. Joyce Ngugi, presided over the celebration of the International Women’s Day in Kiambu County today.

The International Women’s Day is celebrated every year globally on the 8th of March to honour the achievements of women in various fields.

In this year’s celebration that had the hashtag, Choose to Challenge, women were recognized for their immense contribution in the social and political circles and in economic development.

Women have also contributed greatly to the welfare of the society at the family level and beyond.

It is our responsibility to appreciate and honour the women who are achieving success in their lives and bringing success into the lives of other women and society at large. Happy International Women’s Day to all our women.
